Not only in educational and work but also in daily environment people engage with the learning, collaboration, meeting or any other presentation process via their own tablet or smartphone. To answer this need, a number of next-generation wireless technologies are included in Panasonic’s range of projectors and displays to support a wide variety of devices and media formats.

They allow to transmit documents, Full HD video, images, and audio from compatible Android devices and Windows PCs to the big screen with e.g. Miracast™—the latest wireless standard that doesn't require software or complicated setup. With no cables, fast connection, and high bandwidth, Miracast™ makes it easy for everyone to contribute.

Miracast is a peer-topeer wireless standard connected via Wi-Fi direct. It is simple to get content – e.g. Full-HD Videos, online video streams, and PowerPoint® documents -  from different network-attached devices, such as notebooks, smartphones, and tablets, onto the big screen in real-time.

For the technology to work both devices (the sending and receiving device) must support Miracast. This wireless standard does not require any software, app installation or complicated setup providing that both devices are miracast compatible. Wireless connection with devices that are not Miracast-compatible or wireless connection from multiple devices require the installation of dedicated software.
